The lovely Geisha beans of the Geiko Colombia make for such a delightful brew that's good any time of day (as long as you don't mind being awake!) and wonderfully light, sweet, fruity, and just all around delicious.
Sacred Beans' brewer is literally the person who got me into coffee at age 44 when I've never drank it before in my life. It's the first time I've been able to pick out some distinct flavors (other than bitter) when drinking it. It's been a relaxing mid day treat for me for a few months now and I highly recommend them.
My first cup of this one week after roast had me asking myself if I was truly drinking coffee or tea.
The first wave consists of a pleasant citrus, lemon leaning, but then gives way to the bouquet of florals that Geisha is known for. My intrigue was piqued when the rose shown through most prominently with this offering. The finish is a bright, green tea that is almost refreshing on the palate.
Another great offering from Sacred Beans!
